School Fees

Diocesan Fees

Ensuring a quality Catholic education is affordable and accessible for children

There are three levels of annual fees, billed in instalments during Terms 1, 2 and 3:

  • Annual Diocesan Tuition Fees set by the Catholic Education Office
  • Diocesan Building Levy set by the Catholic Education Office
  • School-based fees.

Discounts on Fees

Catholic schools in the Diocese of Parramatta are committed to providing an affordable quality Catholic education for families. We understand the financial demands placed on families and seek to keep the fees as low as possible. No child who meets the enrolment criteria will be refused enrolment or disadvantaged because of a family's financial circumstances.

There are very significant discounts for the second (25% reduction) and third (50% reduction) children enrolled from the one family. There are no fees for the fourth and subsequent children.

If you have children in other Diocesan schools, please click on the Sibling Discount Applicable Schools attachment to see if a discount will be automatically applied.

If any of your children attend a school listed where a sibling advice notice is required, please complete and return the Sibling Registration for Diocesan Tuition Fees form.

Please note that for automatic discounts to apply the residential address on each enrolment form must be the same. It is up to parents to advise schools of other siblings in order to receive the discount. Please note that discounts are not backdated.

Flexible Payment Options

There are a range of options available to assist families WITH THE PAYMENT OF FEES.

No student will be refused enrolment because of a family’s genuine inability to pay fees.

Diocesan Building Levy

The Diocesan Building Levy enables us, through our capital works program, to meet the demand for new schools and new classes in high growth areas, and to continue to maintain all schools to a high standard. All families with one or more children in a Parramatta Diocesan school (or at St Dominic's College Kingswood) are required to pay the annual Diocese of Parramatta Diocesan Building Levy.

School-Based Fees

Each school also charges fees that go toward resources that may include excursions, cost of buses, photocopying, utilities, maintenance of buildings and grounds, camps and reflection days.

Resource fee

This fee is to supply learning materials such as exercise books, art materials, cardboard, paper, folders etc. The fee of $130 per child is added to Term One fees.

Excursion Payment

This payment is based on the cost of grade excursions and incursions. It includes such events as: Gymnastics, Sports & Swimming Carnivals, Fagan Park, Grade Excursion and any guest speakers. This payment of $165 is payable in three equal instalments over 3 terms. This payment is non-refundable. Please note that this does not, however, cover the cost of the Swimming Program or the Year 5 & 6 Canberra excursion.

Administration / Maintenance Fee Levy

This levy is to purchase equipment and ongoing improvements. $102 per family per year paid in equal instalments over three terms.

Parents and Friends Levy

This optional levy is to purchase technology, books, equipment and resources needed for the students. $102 per family, per year, paid over three terms.

School Fee Accounts

All school fee accounts are processed through the TechOne Finance computer system. Second and third children in Systemic Catholic Schools are given a fee discount. NO tuition fees are applicable for fourth and subsequent children.

You will receive a Statement of Account at the beginning of each term. It would be appreciated if all fees could be paid as soon as possible. If you wish to make weekly or monthly payments, as small regular payments are easier to manage, please see the office.

Outstanding Fees

A reminder for outstanding fees will be sent 30 days from the date of the original statement. If you encounter unexpected changes to your income that may make it difficult to pay your fees on time, please make an immediate appointment with the Principal to discuss the matter before the situation becomes unmanageable. The Catholic Education Office now has access to all school fee accounts and will follow up on all outstanding debts.

Financial Hardship

From time to time most families find that the cost of living and bringing up their families stretches their income to the limit.  Any families who are experiencing difficulty meeting their school accounts are asked to contact the Principal early so that large amounts do not build up and become impossible to meet. Some parents take the option to pay a small amount each week.
